A kind of "TK against the TKKG" situation (sort-of translation: "The Secret Seven and the health bureaucrats")...
Don't spend it all at once, the 3,33 €.
TKKG? I was trying to work out what Gesetz that could possibly be, before the Internet came to my help. Alas, I am missing a West German childhood and don't seem to have heard of them.
Anyway, the €3.33 are Mahngebühren I was steadfastly refusing to pay, so I won't be getting anything back, which is a pity as that would get me about 10 bottles of Mecklenburger Stierbier (including Pfand) at my local Netto.
Perhaps they wanted to take the 3,33 € from you as a Gesundheitsvorsorgemaßnahme, i.e. to prevent you from getting any of that Stierbier? Or at least a crate less.
(I only mentioned the TKKG as an excuse to show off my typeface-recognition skills, but wonder why the TK don't use their own house font for the entire letter..)
I did try a bottle of that Stierbier once. €0.22 for real beer in a real bottle - surely too good to be true?
Tasted like, well, cheap beer. As to the TK and its fonts (very astute of you, and clever juxtaposition - feel free to crack open a congratulatory bottle of Sternburg Export) ... no doubt they have a mindbendingly expensive handbook of font usage detailing every possible aspect of corporate identity.
I also notice the at least two different sizes of text in that extract. Their style sheet was clearly written by someone mad. Or perhaps their corporate identity was developed under the motto "designed to annoy people with a vague interest in design and page layout", as they are more often ill than others and pay less health contributions via the Künstlersozialkasse at the same time; and would therefore probably go to the AOK or the BKK instead.

Who,What,FAQWho
Mount Penguin is technically British, but has lived in Berlin for like yonks. WhatThis is a blog of odd stuff he comes across in everyday life, etc. Bit of a lucky dip really. FAQI did originally intend to put together what one day might be the ultimate Berlin FAQ. Due to global warming that hasn't yet happened, but nevertheless if you have any questions about Berlin, feel free to ask them here and I'll see if I can find an answer... Meanwhile...Do come and visit my other blog where there's likely to be more hot penguin action. Comments about IKEA Shelving Festival!
